Sale-a-bration 2013 ends Friday, so if you want your Freebies, better place your Stampin' Up! order ASAP!
Since this hop is the last in our Spring-a-bration series, I wanted to use something cute and springy - Storybook Friends fits the bill perfectly! I have this adorable set in clear-mount, so I cut apart the animals and sentiments so I can pair them up however I want or need to. I needed thank-you notes, and this set doesn't have that phrase, so I took a stamp from another set and adhered it to the block right next to the sweet kitten.
Stamps: Storybook Friends, Day of Gratitude (sentiment), Every Little Bit (flower stamped as background)
Ovals Framelits shape cut from Summer Starfruit. Rose Red polka dot paper from Brights DSP stack. Adorning Accents scalloped Edgelit and coordinating embossing folder on Old Olive cardstock.
Image stamped in Basic Gray and colored with Rose Red marker and retired Stampin' Pastels to make the cat look nice and soft. I used a Designer frames embossing folder around my stamped image, cut it out, and accented it with Summer Starfruit marker.
My second card is sized as a gift enclosure, or could be used to give a gift card. It uses the Sale-a-bration set Pretty Petites and the coordinating Petite Curly Label punch. I used 2012-2014 In Color markers on the stamps and raised the punched shapes up with dimensionals.
Hope you've enjoyed this stop on our tour, next you'll be headed to Dancin' Stamps, where Christine is sure to be dazzling you with something gorgeous!

The kitten thank you card is sweet - I've only ever cut apart two stamps, but this one is a perfect candidate. Love the clean & simple birthday, too, the bright colors are just the right touch!
These are wonderful, Linda! I love your style! (I need all the help I can get using the petite curly label.)
Beautiful!
Linda, Cute cute kitty! fits perfect in that frame.
So cute, love that kitty.
Love your use of the kitten. I used that set for Easter, now I know another use! And I have that frame embossing thing.
How cute is that little kitty? Love that you cut your stuff apart too. I'm sure some of the gals would fall over dead if they knew how I treat my stamps...8-)
Your little note card/gift card holder is great!
I'm off to the next stop! hugs.
Cute projects, Linda. Love the kitty!
Love your coloring work on that kitten and using the frame for it, would make a great baby card.
