It's here, it's here!! That wonderful time of year when the elections are finally over and the thoughts of crafters turn to Christmas, and if you haven't started yet, it's time to get going! I made some Christmas cards back in August, you can take a look at them *here* or click Christmas in the list of Labels in the left column to see all my Christmas projects.
I created 2 versions of my second Christmas card this year. First a very simple version that would work well for mass-production, and then one that I've "stepped up" with dry-embossing, a colored base and a decorated interior panel.
Stamp sets: Everything Eleanor, Delightful Dozen
Colors: Garden Green, Raspberry Ripple, Whisper White
Tools: Small Heart and Owl Builder punches, Framed Tulips embossing folder
Accessories: Stampin' Dimensionals, glue dots, white taffeta ribbon
Techniques: inked only the outer portion of the medallion stamp with a marker to create the wreath, faux bow is punch art, fork bow dyed with Raspberry Ripple ink
Finally, I used the same medallion stamp from Everything Eleanor with images from the Mixed Medley Hostess Set to create a square Christmas tag. Colors are Always Artichoke and Raspberry Ripple.

Oh I like these! I always forget about that heart bow!! Thanks for the cute reminder.
First time seeing a heart bow, very cute. Love your little bird.
I love your punch art bow. Very clever. All of your cards are beautiful. I love how you used stamps not associated with Christmas to make your wreaths.
Oh these are just lovely and I have to agree with Stephanie on how you used the non Christmas stamps to make your wreath. Very clever. Also love the little heart bow and the colors are lovely. hugs.
The heart bow is so clever! I'm definitely CASEing that. And I love the way you used all the medallions for the wreaths. Love it!
Cute bow! Great projects, Linda.
Cute ideas, who needs a Christmas stamp... OK I do, these are cute.
All are very nice and simple, at least to start with. Love using sets that can be used in more than one way!
what clever cards - lovely
Thanks Linda for adding to my CASE files. Totally missed the wreath possibllities in Everything Eleanor. Cool that that image is also available as a single stamp too! Love that Mixed Medley set more and more - I think its a keeper for sure. See you next hop my friend.
