If you started our hop at the beginning with Debbie, you have no doubt seen some fantastic things today. Hope you like what I've done for my version of a turkey card using the owl punch. He's supposed to look like his eyes are closed in contemplation - not sure that's working, but there it is.
Colors: Real Red, More Mustard, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
Stamps: Day of Gratitude, Lovely Little Labels
Tools: Framed Tulips embossing folder, Window Frames framelits dies, Owl Builder Punch
I made the eyelids by punching out the medium circles, putting them onto a Post-it, then putting them into the punch again on the same circle, but offset.
The trimmed Window frame shape is most easily and thriftily done by lining up the corners on the die with the edge of the card stock.
One of our group wasn't able to join us on time due to technical difficulties, but since I'm at the end, I thought I'd add the link to her beautiful projects (click here). She has a link back the main page for the blog hop, so you won't get lost if you visit her. You can still get back to the beginning of the hop if you started somewhere in the middle.

That is adorable, Linda! I can totally see him "contemplating" his future. Or lack thereof. Poor turkey. But maybe because he's so cute he'll escape being dinner this year.
isn't he just the cutest little thing? i really like the mats he's mounted on - very clever!
Buffy - he is contemplating how thankful he is to be appearing on a card rather than the dinner table!
Such a cute turkey. Between you and Buffy, I'm going to be making some turkeys!
Cute, cute card!
So cute. Perhaps he thinks he is hiding so no one sees him and puts him on the dinner table.
I think the turkey is meditating. He is glad that he is on your wonderful card and not the table.
I love how you did this card, very cute.
Really liked how you used the medallion for his feathers, this would make a great peacock also. Never thought about cutting those framelits to make them shorter, thanks for the inspiration.
Very cute
Fabulous card and yes, his closed eyes are great...maybe he is praying that at least someone will consider pork or chicken or beef instead of turkey - LOL!
Of course the turkey's eyes are closed It takes a little contemplation and concentration to produce a tail that beautiful and to convince us to eat pork instead! He's a wise old bird whether as an owl or a turkey...LOL.
Thanks for sharing your Wow design. Took my breath away when I saw it. Brilliant use of the Window frame dies and the colors are perfect!
Such a cute little guy. Yet another use for that owl builder punch.
